Just last month Wendy Williams opened up to her fans and viewers about her struggle with drugs and alcohol during her return to her talk show. She revealed to her audience that she had been living in a sober house and the only person who knew was her husband and son.

However she didn't address the rumors about her husband's infidelity with his alleged long time mistress Sharina Hudson. Just days after she made her confession about living in a sober house , new details emerged about Hunter's alleged affair Sharina Hudson gave birth to a baby girl.

This news sent Ms. Williams over the edge leading to her breaking her sobriety and having to be rushed to an emergency room. This embarrassing incident was obviously Wendy's final straw just last week it was announced Wendy had finally filed for divorced from her husband after 22 years of marriage.

Last week Williams briefly touched on the unfortunate news before she began the hot topics segment of her show she said " it's crazy cause now my business is your business , it's kind of funny turnabouts are fair game, I get it."

She also announced her plans on moving out of the sober house in the days to come and her main focus will be her son and maintaining her sobriety. I think I speak for most of the women in the world when I say I'm happy for her she's starting to realize her worth and abandon that toxic situation.

According to the Blast her soon to be ex-husband apologized for his recent actions with a statement that read "28 years ago I met an amazing woman Wendy Williams. At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally.

He finished his statement up with “I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs.” It's never too late to take accountability for your actions , but in this case it's a little too late he has made a spectacle of their marriage

Despite how most people feel about her due to the nature of her job nobody deserve that type of behavior from a spouse or significant other. Sending her much positivity and blessings on her single and sobriety journey.
