Just a few months ago Emily Bustamante and Fabolous made headlines after he was arrested for assaulting her , shortly after he was arrested TMZ released a video of Fabolous arguing with Emily's father threatening to kill him and holding a knife in his hand. Bustamante also stated her teeth had to be medically removed after her boyfriend punched her in the face repeatedly. This shocked many people including fabulous fans. Many didn't know whether to believe the allegations or not. While others had decided they could no longer support an abuser.

Following this incident Emily dropped the restraining order she had against Fab and attended Coachella together. Last Friday Emily appeared with fabulous in court for his hearing related to the incident. Although she has decided to drop the restraining order and asked the courts to dismiss the Domestic violence case , Fabolous may still face 3-5 years if convicted for making death threats against Bustamante's father and brother.

Many people have opinions about this situation as a whole, most feel as though Emily is stupid for accepting that type of behavior back into her life and she's setting a bad example for her daughter. While others have said they feel this wasn't the first time fab put hands on Emily and believes she took him back because of financial reasons. Truth be told I even wondered why she went back so suddenly, however she shouldn't be bullied because of that decision. People don't fully understand the psychological abuse that victims of domestic violence go through unless you yourself have been a victim of abuse there could be a number of reasons why Emily forgave fab reasons we wouldn't understand because we aren't in her shoes.
