Nicki & Cardi Met Gala Link Up: What's Tea Sis?

It seems as if ever since Cardi B became successful and started making her mark in the entertainment world the industry and fans have been trying to create a rivilary Cardi and Nicki Minaj. For months there were numerous rumors and spectations going around, however after the two were featured on the song "Motorsport" everyone assumed all was well between the two artists. That would eventually blow over shortly after "Motorsport" was released Cardi did an interview explaining how she got featured on the song with Migos and Nicki. Cardi B stated when she first heard Motorsport Nicki's verse wasn't completed and it was different from the one was finalized. Also when the video was shot for motorsport Cardi and Nicki weren't featured in any scenes together.

That added more fuel to the controversy and the beef speculations began again. After Nicki's hiatus she returned with two new singles and an interview a week following the release of Cardi B's debut album. In her interview she claimed she felt a way about Cardi's comments regarding the motorsport verse. The two artists would finally run into each other at the annual met gala on Monday night, before the infamous photos were taken Nicki gave an interesting interview on the red carpet that has left people to assume she was taking shots at Cardi (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75FdOgZd-eI).

However there was a plot twist, later on that night at the Gala Cardi & Nicki were spotted together and even posed for pictures together. This left many puzzled and wondering what really transpired between them. Luckily our good sis Tiffany Haddish was there hopefully she'll spill some tea.

One of my theories is Nicki just created an issue out of nothing to generate buzz to get increased record sales for her two new singles and play victim like always. Second theory they both could've agreed to fake an issue to gain large streaming numbers and record sales and behind closed doors are probably really cool with each other. Either that or Nicki is just bugging. Don't get me wrong though I like both artist , I probably favor Cardi more but they're in two totally different lanes and they aren't comparable.
