Why "She's Gotta Have It" Is The Second Best Show For Females To Watch Right Now

On November 23rd 2017 the Netflix series She's gotta have it by Spike Lee was released to the world, it's based on the movie with the same title released in 1986. This show is based on a sexually liberated young artist named Nola Darling who entertains three men all at once. The show is pretty much the same as the movie with different characters, however the show is more edgy and addresses issues that women and men in 2017 deal with. The show gives you more of an insight of who Nola Darling following her day to day her relationships with three suitors , her friends, therapist , and her parents. This is the second best thing to Insecure by Issa Rae both shows deal with characters at different aspects of their lives trying to figure out what the next move will be , only difference is Issa is so anal and overthinks everything where as Nola lives in the moment. Everyone in our generation especially females should watch this show , it teaches some of us a lot about loving ourselves, defying societal norms, finding yourself , being sexually liberated and learning it's okay to breakdown sometimes as long as you pick yourself back up.
